LED Roadway Lighting Ltd. NXT-S Luminaire Selected for 2013 IES Progress Report

LED Roadway Lighting Ltd. (LRL) is pleased to announce that the NXT-S luminaire has been selected for inclusion in the 2013 Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Progress Report (http://www.ies.org/progress/).

The IES Progress Committee’s stated mandate is to "keep in touch with developments in the art and science of lighting throughout the world, and prepare a yearly review of achievements for the Illuminating Engineering Society.” The NXT-S luminaire was submitted for consideration by the IES Progress Committee for introducing the following novel developments in the field of outdoor lighting:

• First to offer a tool-less, field-replaceable LED Light Engine which allows for upgrading of LEDs and field-swapping of optics.
• First to offer a tool-less, field-replaceable surge module.
• Tool-less, replaceable driver: Plate-mounted driver with quick disconnects simplifies field replacement and minimizes waste.
• Optional built-in sensor allows LED depreciation to be measured and reported over the service life of the luminaire (requires Lumen IQ monitoring/control system).
