LRL BB Gun Test

Lighting fixtures are sometimes exposed to gunfire and other projectiles once installed. This video demonstrates the effects of shooting the Satellite fixture 100 times with a BB gun. As can be seen, the fixture remains fully functional after this test.

LRL Vibration Test

The Satellite has been tested to 100,000 cycles at 5 Hz (typical bridge and overpass frequencies) at 60 Hz as well as ANSI C136.31-2001

LRL Ingress Testing

To verify the dust and water jet tight seal of the Satellite optics and power supply chambers, IP66 testing has been conducted. The following video is footage from this testing, where a fire hose was turned on to high power and the jet spray administered to the fixture at all angles. The fixture passed the test with flying colors, with no moisture entry into any of the sealed chambers.

LRL Wind Tunnel

The following is a video of independent testing of our light fixture conducted in a wind tunnel at a National Research Council laboratory in Ottawa Canada. The fixture EPA was determined to be 1 sq ft/0.093 m2 and tested up to 112 mph/180 km/h.
