LED Roadway Lighting Ltd Announces Installation in Easthampton, Massachusetts

LED Roadway Lighting Ltd (LRL) is pleased to announce that the City of Easthampton has selected LRL’s Satellite Series fixtures to replace their existing high pressure sodium fixtures. Installation of 469 fixtures is well underway, with Union Street, Main Street and a number of side streets already completed. Easthampton is the first municipality in western Massachusetts to embark on a large-scale LED street light retrofit program.

Roadway Lighting Ltd Announces Major Installation in Edmonton

LED Roadway Lighting Ltd (LRL) is pleased to announce that the City of Edmonton, through electric utility Epcor Utilities Inc., has selected LED Roadway Lighting Ltd (LRL) street light fixtures for a mix of new and retrofit applications. The installation of 2,580 Satellite™ series fixtures (expected to be approximately 4,500 by year’s end), is expected to result in energy savings of approximately $2.6 million over the 20 year life of the fixtures. This represents a savings of approximately 51% over the conventional 70, 100, 150, 250 and 400 watt high-pressure sodium fixtures currently in use.

LED Roadway Lighting Ltd. Helps SWTRA with Greener Technology!

The South Wales Trunk Road Agency (SWTRA), on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government, have installed 62 LED Roadway Satellite™ lanterns on the A48 (Trunk Road) Briton Ferry Bridge as a trial to save energy, reduce carbon emissions and explore new technologies. The conversion took place during the first two weeks of March to coincide with a closure booked for re-surfacing.
