Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada  

LED Roadway Lighting Ltd. ( LRL ) is pleased to announce a major project in Norway.  The project, which involves the municipalities of Asker, Bærum, Lier and Røyken, will include the supply of approximately 15,000 Satellite™ Series fixtures, and take place over a 2 year period.  This is the largest investment in LED street lighting in Norway to date.  The Satellite™ fixtures will replace existing mercury vapor technology and energy savings of up to 70% are expected.  An earlier installation in Asker took place in 2010.  At present, LRL products have been installed in more than 30 Norwegian municipalities.

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA, November 18, 2011 - LED Roadway Lighting Ltd. (LRL) announced today that it has acquired the intellectual property and certain other assets of Streetlight Intelligence Inc. (SLQ) of Victoria, British Columbia.  With this acquisition, LRL has become the first company in Canada to combine energy-efficient HPS and LED street lighting with smart wireless technology.  “LRL now brings to market a single-source solution for customers, integrating control options with street lighting fixtures to further improve energy-efficiency and reduce total life-cycle costs,” said Charles Cartmill, President and CEO of LRL.
