LED Roadway Lights are true replacements for existing high-pressure sodium ( HPS ) and metal halide ( MH ) fixtures with equivalent target photopic lumens. While supplying the same amount of light (photopic lumens), LRL 's fixtures use significantly less energy than their HPS and MH counterpart fixtures. Additionally, LRL fixtures have been designed with a maintenance-free, 20-year design life. Compare this to:
  • HPS fixtures, which require bulb replacements every 20,000 to 30,000 hours
  • MH fixtures, which require replacements every 5,000 to 24,000 hours.

LRL's lights are designed in accordance with IES Type II and Type III distributions. With our superior light distribution, our IES RP-8 Compliant fixtures can meet the guidelines up to 200 ft/60.9 m pole spacing, and up to 30 ft/9.1m mounting height. The luminaire sports:

  • A robust cast enclosure
  • IP66 (Ingress Protection), indicating the optics and electronics are protected from dust, and from high pressure water jets
  • Industry leading thermal dissipation system

The LRL Satellite can be swapped out directly with existing luminaires. The fixture has also been designed specifically to be mounted on existing poles. Installation is simple and uses standard luminaire installation tools. The LRL light has an adjustable fixture angle and pitch.

  • The Satellite follows Energy Star guidelines, indicating that it is one of the most energy-efficient products of its kind on the market.
  • The Satellite is RoHS compliant, meaning both the product, and its manufacturing process are free of hazardous substances, including lead and mercury.
  • By following the European Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive ( WEEE ), we've designed our fixture to be able to be recycled in accordance with the best available technology, and not simply discarded and sent to municipal landfills.

LRL products follow the International Dark Sky Association recommendations. Our optics are designed to target the roadway surface, eliminating glare and wasted light. This reduces the impact on the environment and increases safety and security for motorists.
