Associations

LED Roadway Lighting understands the value of being involved in industry and trade organizations.  Through knowledge sharing with the below organizations we strive to keep our highway and street lighting solutions at the head of environmental, scientific and cost saving advancements.

ies IES (Illuminating Engineering Society) - The IES is the recognized authority for illumination standards used in North America.  Their RP-8 guidelines are used to set lighting standards for different classifications of roadways.  LM-79 reports are used to rate LED’s and LM-80 reports rate LED fixtures on a number of criteria.
ILE_Gold ILE (Institute of Lighting Engineers) - The Institute of Lighting Engineers (ILE) is the UK and Ireland's largest and most influential professional lighting association, dedicated solely to excellence in lighting.  Founded in 1924 as the Association of Public Lighting Engineers, the ILE has evolved to include lighting designers, consultants and engineers amongst its 2,200 strong membership.
IDAfsa-rgb International DARK Sky Association - The IDA seeks to preserve and protect the night time environment and dark skies through the reduction of light pollution and the use of environmentally responsible outdoor lighting.
atc TAC (Transportation Association of Canada) - The TAC is a national association with a mission to promote the provision of safe, secure, efficient, effective and environmentally and financially sustainable transportation services in support of Canada's social and economic goals.
ipc IPC (Association Connecting Electronics Industries) - IPC is a global trade association dedicated to furthering the competitive excellence and financial success of its members, who are participants in the electronics industry.
ieee IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) - The IEEE is the world’s largest professional association advancing innovation and technological excellence for the benefit of humanity.
osa OSA (Optical Society of America) - The OSA’s aim is to advance the science and technology of light. They also promote the generation, application and archiving of knowledge in optics and photonics and to disseminate this knowledge worldwide.
spie SPIE (Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers) - SPIE is an international society advancing an interdisciplinary approach to the science and application of light, serving more than 188,000 constituents from 138 countries.
